01 Introduction
These Terms of Service (the “Terms”) govern your use of DirPilot (dirpilot.com) and the services we provide. By using the website or booking a service, you agree to these Terms.
02 Our services
Directory submissions
We submit your product by hand to the startup and AI directories included in the plan you book, and report each listing. Directories are run by third parties who decide on their own whether to accept, publish or index a listing, and whether its link is dofollow. We cannot guarantee approval, ranking, traffic or indexing. If a directory rejects your product, we replace it with a directory of similar authority at no extra cost.
The Hangar
You can list a tool in the Hangar for free (Standby) or pay to choose your launch day (Priority). Every tool is reviewed by a person before it is published, and we may decline tools that are unsafe, misleading, adult, illegal or low quality. Standby listings require the DirPilot badge on your site; if the badge is removed, we may remove the listing.
Directory listings
Directory owners can pay to have their directory added to our directory list. We review each one and add it by hand, with the data we measure. We decide how a directory is scored and displayed.
Our services are provided “as is”. We may change, improve or discontinue parts of the service at any time.
03 Your account
You need an account to book a service or list a tool. You are responsible for keeping your login secure and for everything done through your account. Give us accurate information and keep it up to date.
04 Payments
Prices are shown in US dollars and paid once, through Stripe. A booking is confirmed only once the payment succeeds; a checkout you leave unpaid is cancelled and nothing is kept. Refunds are covered by our Refund Policy.
05 Your content
You keep ownership of everything you submit: product names, descriptions, logos, screenshots, comments and profile details. You allow us to store, display, adapt (for example, rewording a description for each directory) and submit that content to deliver our services and to show your listing and profile on DirPilot.
You confirm you have the right to use what you submit, and that it does not infringe anyone's rights or break the law. We may edit or remove content that breaks these Terms.
06 Acceptable use
- No spam, fake accounts, or votes and clearances from accounts you control.
- No scraping, crawling or automated access to the site without our permission.
- No attempts to break, overload or get around the security of the service.
- No harassment, hate or illegal content in comments, bios or listings.
07 Emails
We send emails needed to deliver the service, such as order confirmations, review results and reports. New accounts also receive our newsletter, which you can leave at any time.
08 Third-party sites
DirPilot links to third-party directories and tools. We do not control them and are not responsible for their content, availability or practices. A link is not an endorsement.
09 Intellectual property
The DirPilot name, logo, design, directory data and scores, and other site content belong to us. You may not copy, resell or republish them without our written permission. The badges we offer may be used as provided, on the site they were made for.
10 Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent the law allows, DirPilot is not liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for lost profits, traffic or rankings. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us for the service concerned.
11 Indemnification
You agree to hold DirPilot harmless from claims, damages and costs (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your use of the service, your content, or your breach of these Terms.
12 Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. If the changes are significant, we will tell you by email or with a notice on the site. Using DirPilot after an update means you accept the new Terms.
